Since its inception in 2016, this initiative has generously supported an impressive 36,500 causes, distributing a total of £114 million to help drive positive change in neighbourhoods.
In line with our commitment to strengthening community ties, we introduced the ‘Winners Share It All’ prize draw. This exciting initiative aims to amplify support for the countless grassroots organizations that play a vital role in their localities.

Each month, 10 Co-op Members have the opportunity to win £500 for themselves, while also designating a worthy cause to receive £5,000. This means that not only can members enjoy a personal reward, but they can also significantly impact their chosen community initiative.
We are dedicated to empowering local communities through our robust community partnerships and the Local Community Fund. Since 2020, this fund has allocated over £58 million to support an impressive 20,500 unique community projects throughout the UK.

Additionally, through the Community Partnership Fund, we are committed to collaborating with like-minded organizations that share our vision of community support. Our focus remains on directing resources and assistance to the communities that need it the most, ensuring that our efforts are both effective and responsive to local needs.
Moreover, our members are encouraged to take an active role in shaping and participating in community activities and campaigns. This is facilitated by our Co-op Member Pioneers and Co-operate, our dedicated community platform. Together, we aim to create meaningful engagement opportunities, encouraging members to contribute their ideas and energy to enhance the well-being of their communities.
