Children are continuing to suffer in the Gaza Strip, with little access to food and water, shelter, healthcare or even clothes nearly two months into the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, according to a UNICEF spokesperson who visited the enclave.
Israel is looking for “maximum flexibility” as Israeli and US politicians consider the possibility of going into the second phase of the truce deal with Hamas, as well as ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, and the resumption of full-scale fighting in the enclave, analysts say.
