Machine Head has officially announced the impending release of their highly anticipated new album, titled “Unatoned”, alongside the unveiling of the lead single, “Unbound.”
This new track is part of the upcoming record, which is set to drop on April 25, 2024, through renowned labels Nuclear Blast and Imperium Recordings. Accompanying the announcement, the band has shared the album’s striking artwork and detailed tracklisting, providing fans with a glimpse of what to expect.
“Unatoned” will be significant as it marks Machine Head’s first full-length album since their acclaimed release “Of Kingdom And Crown”, which debuted in 2022. Moreover, this album will also introduce guitarist Reece Scruggs, formerly of Havok, who is making his recording debut with the band.
The excitement surrounding “Unatoned” began last year when Machine Head teased the project by releasing the single “These Scars Won’t Define Us.” Additionally, they announced an extensive North American tour scheduled for spring 2025, featuring prominent support acts such as In Flames, Lacuna Coil, and Unearth. This tour promises to be a major highlight for fans eager to experience the new music live.
