The Holy See Press Office released an update on Wednesday evening regarding the health of the Holy Father.
In a statement, the press office confirmed, “The Holy Father’s clinical condition is stable. The results of the latest blood tests, assessed by the medical staff, indicate a slight improvement, particularly in the inflammatory indices, which is encouraging.” This information was reported by News.Az, citing Vatican News.
Following a light breakfast, the Pope engaged with his daily routine by reading several newspapers to stay informed about current events. He then proceeded to conduct meetings with his closest collaborators, discussing various matters of the Church. Before lunchtime, he participated in a private Eucharistic celebration, strengthening his spiritual connection.
In the afternoon, he welcomed a visit from Italy’s Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni. The two leaders engaged in a focused, 20-minute discussion, during which they exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, demonstrating the Pope’s ongoing commitment to dialogue and collaboration in global affairs.
