Boasting an impressive inventory of over 30,000 items, visitors can marvel at a stunning fleet of traditional dhow sailboats, an arrangement of intricately woven carpets, and even an entire house that once stood in Damascus, Syria.
Among the museum’s treasures are remarkable archaeological finds dating back to the Jurassic period, ancient copies of the Quran, and a dedicated section illustrating the critical role of pearling in Qatar’s storied history. Additionally, the collection showcases exquisite jewelry from the 17th century, offering insights into the artistry and craftsmanship of that time.
